Beth Thomas – Child of Rage Bio: What Did She Do To Her Brother, Where Is She Now?

It’s just people who were around in the ’80s who can vividly recall the incredible story of Beth Thomas, a beautiful young soul who earned the nickname “the psychopath’s little girl” for terrorizing her family.

Described as one of the worst cases of abuse, The Insane Case of Thomas, which received wide media coverage and resonated around the world, underscores the fact that every action that takes place during childhood has an impact on the child, either negatively or positively . Like any other child, Beth was born to her mother under natural circumstances, but later became a terror to her family due to the unspeakable things she went through at the hands of her birth father.

As reported by online sources, the young girl was sexually abused by her father until she was nineteen months old. The shameful abuse was found to have been facilitated by the fact that she was neglected by her family while growing up.

Beth Thomas lost her biological mother in old age, one of which led to her staying under the same roof with her father. She was later adopted by a Methodist minister, Tim Tennent, and his wife, Julie Tennent, after the couple stopped having their own children but wanted to share the security of their marriage with someone else.

The couple, after completing the process of adoption at the Department of Social Services in 1984, eventually brought home Beth, then 19 months old, and her brother Jonathan, who was 7 months old at the time. What Tim and Julie didn’t know at the time was that the children had been severely physically and emotionally abused by their father, but the couple finally found out after a few months and that was the beginning of their nightmare.

Bio of Beth Thomas – Child of Wrath

Due to the circumstances surrounding her birth, the exact birth date, birth month and birth year are not known online. However, it is believed that she was born sometime in the late 80’s. As previously mentioned, she was adopted along with her brother when she was one year and six months old. She is 12 months older than her only brother Jonathan. Speaking of birth parents, her abusive father’s name is not known to the public, while her mother died a year after Beth was born.

She is believed to have completed her elementary education level, although the names of the institutions where she completed her elementary and high school education are missing from her online profile. Likewise, information about their ethnicity, nationality and family members has yet to be released.

What did she do to her brother?

As someone who grew up without trust or love, anyone trying to come to terms with people was a huge challenge for Beth. Aside from the fact that she never developed a conscience, she was always ready to take any opportunity to hurt or kill people, including her adoptive parents and brother. She once admitted to killing four pets and crushing a nest of small birds to death.

On numerous occasions, Beth Thomas attempted to killher brother Jonathan. She forcibly pushed him down the stairs to the basement, going so far as to smash his head against the cement floor, bruising his chin. Jonathan was rescued by her adoptive mother, Julie, who ran into the basement after hearing his screams from afar.

Due to the sexual abuse and neglect she got by her father’s hands, Beth is also said to have engaged in improper sexual behavior towards her brother and other boys. Beth admitted during the course of therapy that she squeezed, kicked and hurt her brother’s and other boys’ private parts. According to her adoptive mother, when Beth was two years old, she was caught pulling her brother’s manhood and jabbing her finger up his anus. It was later revealed that her desire to hurt her brother stemmed from her past experiences. This also played out in frequent nightmares in which an unknown man repeatedly climbed onto her body and used a part of himself to make her cry.

In therapy, it was discovered that Beth’s abusive childhood has done more harm than good to her life. She admitted to masturbating in inappropriate places and times, including in public parking lots. Her parents also revealed how often they locked her in her room to stop her from stabbing her at night like she used to threaten.

Where is she now?

Despite Beth’s uncontrollable anger towards herself and family members, the love her adoptive parents had for her didn’t abate, instead the couple took it upon themselves to ensure her a better future. Finally, in April 1989, Tim and Julie placed Beth in a special care home for children with early attachment disorders. After treatment and some time away from her adoptive parents, Beth showed signs of affection in public school, where she met up with a few friends and even joined the school choir.

Beth Thomas, a survivor of reactive attachment disorder (RAD), currently works as a registered nurse. She is also the author of the book More Than A Thread Of Hope and runs a business called Families By Design with her second adoptive mother Nancy. The company was founded to help families with children suffering from RAD.
