Iain Alan Sutherland Glen was born on June 24, 1961 in Edinburgh, Scotland. He has not provided information about his father and his mother. As for his education, he completed his studies at an independent boys’ school, Edinburgh Academy, and then joined the University of Aberdeen. Furthermore, he also enrolled at RADA in London to pursue his acting career. During that time, he won the Bancroft Gold Medal.
