BIOGRAPHY
Laëtitia Eido is a French actress, with a French father and a Lebanese mother. His origins allow him to interpret different nationalities and play in several languages. Laëtitia works both in France and on international productions. She is Dr Shirin, one of the main roles in the globally successful Netflix series Fauda.
In France she plays, among others, Cleopatra in The Destiny of Rome (ARTE), an Indian superhero in Hero Corp by Simon Astier, Jade in the series Yes I do (Studio+), or Lila in the prison series Taken in trap (M6). In 2020 she shared with Pierre Rochefort the poster for the feature film Long Time No See by Pierre Filmon, and starred with Yvan Attal in Human Things.
She played in the United States in Terrence Malick’s latest film (The Last Planet), as well as in the American HBO-Cinemax series Strike Back. She plays the female lead in the feature film Holy Air by Shady Srour (FIPRESCI International Critics Prize at the Jerusalem Film Festival). She was also seen in the film Tel Aviv on Fire by Sameh Zoabi and in My Son by Eran Riklis.
Laëtitia Eido was recognized 3 times as Best Actress for her title role of the historical character Fadhma N’Soumer, a 19th century Kabyle resistance fighter in Belkacem Hadjadj’s feature film.
