Michael D Lamond was born on May 4, 1987 in Bakersfield, California. However, he grew up in Nipomo, California. Lamond also has an older brother, and the family moved to Gresham, Oregon when he was just 11 years old. It was somewhere around that time that Huskyscraft found the wonders of gaming. He had just discovered StarCraft, a real-time strategy game from Blizzard Entertainment.

We have very little to share regarding this player’s academics. We know that he went to and graduated from high school. He showed a passion for games from a very young age and was fascinated with computers. So our guess here is that Mike went to college to study computers.

After discovering the Starcraft game, Husky started playing it on the Battle.net server. It wasn’t long until he completed a large number of games and then got promoted to the GOM TV streaming service. The service for many years has been a streaming platform for professional gamers. Mike had focused on these professional players and was trying to learn from them.
After looking at many potentials in the game, Lamond came up with a new idea to turn this game into a valuable spectator sport. He then started providing interesting comments from his YouTube channel. It was a big surprise for Lamond when his channel was gaining a decent following with fans posting hundreds of videos. In addition to fueling the activity on his channel, under the name Nerd Alert he began producing parody videos of artists like Justin Bieber and Rebecca Black. Mike later moved to Los Angeles to focus more on The Game Station. Along with TotalBiscuit, he became the sponsors of a new Axiom ESports gaming team.

Now coming back to the personal aspects of his life, Mike met Rosanna Pansino, the love of his life sometime in 2012. It was around this time that Mike started appearing in his videos. The two reportedly bought a two-story house in Los Angeles for nearly $1.5 million. However, selling the house, they bought a new one in 2016 in San Fernando Valley, Tarzana for around $4 million.
From the looks of it, the couple is living a low-key life and they like to stay away from the media. We first learned of their relationship in 2017 through a Tweet from Pansino; We didn’t know then, we know now. Pansino is one of the highest paid YouTubers and is a big name on the platform.

Mike has definitely been one of the biggest names in the gaming industry and that is still true despite his decline in recent years. Today he lives with his girlfriend in Tarzana in a luxurious two-story property. They’re both doing pretty well in their respective fields and they’re both making pretty decent amounts.
