BIOGRAPHY
Sonia Couoh is a Mexican actress, born on August 8, 1983, in Ciudad Nezahualcóyotl, State of Mexico, Mexico. Interested in acting since she was a child, Sonia finished high school and entered the Argos CazAzul school to study acting and drama. She participated in a series of short films and plays, before becoming famous for starring in the music video for the song “When You Were Young” by the band The Killers , which gave her international exposure. Years later, Sonia achieved her first nomination for the Ariel Award, in the category of best female co-acting, for the role of Cata in the acclaimed film Norteado (2009), directed by Rigoberto Pérezcano. In his career, Couoh has participated in series such as Any Day (2016), Rosario Tijeras 2 (2018) and films such as Days of Grace (2011), The Perfect Dictatorship (2014) and Nudo Mixteco (2020), among others.
