A Doctor whose name is given as Dr Blaise Ackom has cautioned the youth against oral s*x.
He says one cannot tell when men and women are exposed to the HPV Virus which can be harmful to them.
“We don’t subscribe to oral s*x because, at a point in time, you don’t who is exposed to the HPV virus. You send your mouth in there you pick up the virus.
It stays on the throat and it can cause the cells on the line of the oral cavity or your throat to start…Oral sex is not good,” he said on TV3.
Dr Blaise Ackom noted that the “HPV virus is mostly transmitted through the semen and so sometimes you may see a woman giving a blowjob and the man reaching orgasm and then she swallows the semen. So any kind of bacteria or viruses is easier to get”.
