The Breakfast Club first came out in 1985 and introduced the world to the main five cast members. Critics have considered this movie to be one of director John Hughes best movies. Over the course of the movie, the main characters learned more about themselves, smoked weed and became unlikely friends. Anthony Michael Hall

Anthony Hall took a series of different roles after the breakfast club to avoid being typecast. He joined the cast of SNL in 1985 when he was 17 years old and he acted with Robert Downey Jr in 1988’s Johnny Be Good. He has also acted in Edward Scissorhands and Six Degrees of Separation.

Emilio Estevez

Emilio Estevez has acted in several well known movies including The Outsiders and the Breakfast Club. He has also acted in St Elmo’s Fire, Young Guns and The Mighty Ducks. After this he directed a number of movies and Tv shows including 1986’s Wisdom and 2006’s Bobby. He married Paula Abdul from 1992 to 1994. He has a son and a daughter from a previous relationship.

Ally Sheedy

Ally Sheedy acted in St Elmo’s Fire along with her cast members from the Breakfast Club. She has also appeared in the Dead Zone, 1986’s Short Circuit and 1998’s High Art. She has acted in the off-broadway production of Hedwig and the Angry Inch. More recently, Ally Sheedy has been in CSI, Kyle XY and Psych. She married David Lansbury in 1992 and they had a son together. The couple parted ways in 2008. 

Molly Ringwald

Molly Ringwald acted in The Facts of Life before she acted in the Breakfast Club. She is best known for her role in the Breakfast Club. She has also acted in Sixteen Candles and in Pretty in Pink. She took a break for a little while and then came back to act in The Secret Life of the American Teenager and Riverdale. She was married to Valery Lameignère from 1999 to 2002. She then married Panio Gianopoulos and they have three children together.

Judd Nelson

Judd Nelson acted in St Elmo’s Fire with Ally Sheedy and Emilio Estevez after the Breakfast Club. He worked with Ally Sheedy for a third time in the movie Blue City and then had a performance in Billionaire Boys Club. He has also appeared in CSI, Psych, Suddenly Susan and Empire. 

Paul Gleason

Paul Gleason is best known for plating Dr. David Thorn in the 70s movie All My Children. He is also well known for acting as the Vice Principal in the Breakfast Club. He has also acted in 1988’s Die Hard and 1993’s Trading Places. Paul Gleeson has also appeared in Boy Meets World, Dawson’s Creek and Drake & Josh. He was married to Candy Moore from 1971 to 1978 and then he married Susan Kehl. He has two daughters.

The movie tells the story of five teenagers from different high school groups who serve a Saturday detention together. The movie premiered in Los Angeles on February 7 1985.
