Wallis Currie-Wood was born on November 12, 1991 in Austin, Texas. Currie-Wood’s artistic side became evident from an early age, especially when she started playing the violin from the age of 5. She would come to play with the Starlight Symphony Orchestra for a number of years. While growing up in Austin, Wallis began acting locally and would later attend the Juilliard School performing arts conservatory on the Upper West Side of Manhattan, New York.
At Juilliard, Wallis Currie-Wood began performing on stage. She appeared in theater productions of The Twelfth Night, Buried Child and The Cherry Orchard. In addition to acting, Currie-Wood also continued to play the violin and furthered his knowledge by studying the musical instrument at the University of Texas String Project and the Austin Chamber Academy of Chamber Music.
