Who is WWE’s Kenny Omega?
Canadians may not be known for a streak of violence, however, Kenny Omega chose to express that culture through professional wrestling.
For Kenny, it was not a fleeting interest and soon after he was training under Top Rope Championship Wrestling promoter Bobby Jay. Kenny tried to combine his passion and desire to be a professional wrestler with education but it proved impossible and so gave up. He adopted the nickname Kenny Omega when he was 16.
Dropping out of college gave Kenny a chance to fully immerse himself in the various opportunities available to him as a future professional wrestler. He joined Premier Championship Wrestling in 2001. He became an admired fighter on the Canadian wrestling circuit and his growing reputation landed him a developmental trial with Wrestling’s biggest promotion company, World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE). . He left Premier Championship Wrestling in 2005.
Her career in World Wrestling Entertainment began with a year-long stint in Deep South Wrestling and ended with her. His one-year developmental contract did not result in a professional contract with the company, and he returned to Premier Championship Wrestling.
Despite not having a WWE contract, KennySmith returned to PCW with a more solid knowledge of wrestling. Since returning to PCW in 2006, Kenny Omega has twice won one of the Premier Championship’s top tournaments, the PCW Premier Cup. He also won the PCW Heavyweight Championship four times.

Perhaps Kenny Omega’s most interesting career move though was a move to the Japanese wrestling promotion, Dramatic Dream Team. Kenny, who has always had an interest in the Japanese wrestling scene due to the extent of their creative freedom. He had an interesting time in Japan, where he won several championships and fought with a nine-year-old girl.
He then left DDT to join New Japan Pro Wrestling. In NJPW, he formed a tag team with Kota Ibushi. He later became a member of a team of foreign wrestlers in NJPW called Bullet Club. After 8 years in Japan, Kenny Omega left Japan. His departure from the Japanese wrestling scene was short-lived, however, and he returned to NJPW barely a month after his release.
Despite rumors of a move to WWE, he continues Kenny Omega (Tyson Smith) is now fluent in Japan and proudly represents Japanese culture. Apart from wrestling, he also enjoys playing video games and hosts a YouTube channel where he regularly streams while playing video games.
